- Using Digit 1K0 as a bass guitar power amplifier.Review by Jazzyvee
-
I bought this amplifier in the summer of 2018 as part of a 3U lightweight rig with a valve pre-amp and power supply I was building for convenience on smaller gigs. So far I have used it on about 8 gigs on a variety of genres from reggae, jazz and funk, blues, classic rock and 70's pop and also at most of my rehearsal sessions.
I use barefaced cabs which are FRFR have used it with a 4 ohm cab and bridge mode using an 8 ohm cab. Each time the amplifier has performed superbly and most important to me the sound is clean and crisp across the whole spectrum of my bass and regardless of the volume I needed to perform at. It seems to have a lot of clean headroom which is great when I need more low end volume for reggae and punch for slap bass playing. (Posted on 1/3/2019)
